WalMart info

    This week I picked up a new Remington 700 for 450 with tax. This is about 35 bucks more than the 770. The manager indicated that Remington had repriced the 700 and that Wally's may not carry the 77 much longer.

    BTW the rifle is a ADL model with a camo synthetic stock. It comes with a lower end scope that would be adequate, but mine will be upgraded prior to elk season. You can never have too many rifles in the safe.

    I hate walmart too! it's not the cheap prices its the way they treat people & small business to get those cheap prices

    their vendor contracts are Draconian...

    I don't think a Death Row inmate would sign one of those

    but they don't seem to have a problem with stock

    I don't go to walmarts very often(to far away) but you have to admit, they have made other business keep their prices in line.

    It seems WalMart sells Chicom junk more than some others. I don't mind paying a littel more for quality, but just try to find it!

    Should this thread be split?
