Just wanted to make a thread saying THANK YOU to all that have served to make this the greatest nation in the world. Thank you for helping me let my family sleep safe and live in a society where they don't have to worry about threats that other countries live with daily.
I am, but I'm just a civilian contractor, providing basic life support to the bases out here. I make sure the other civilians stay in compliance to rules, laws and regulations per our contracts, audits, incident/accident investigations and oversee medical/fire/rescue, etc.
Thanks, Denny. Dave P. E-5, US Army, Vietnam -- 1970-1971 I've know other civilian contractors that have served in Iraq (and Vietnam!). Thank you for your service, also.
I also took some time out to think about the sacrifices made by people who went to war, from all countries, and to be thankful that I have never had to face that. Thanks to all, the fallen and the returned.
Thank you!!!! USAF Viet Nam 1967-1968 Saigon, Bien Hoa Last freedom bird out of Saigon, Tet 1967 I volunteered, without regret to this day.
