I was on the phone with my husband, I begged them to get in the bathroom, he just called me ... Still in the bathroom, the roof is off!

Please pray!

It's tough to prepare for the loss of your shelter from the elements when the elements take it. Please keep us posted when you are able.

:congrat: no death or injuries... thats the main thing to think about. I went through one in Huntsville, Al. yrs ago, 3 touched down in 24 hrs......all my family and pets survived. the "stuff" can be replaced, most of it anyway. hold on to your loved ones and breathe. good luck, my prayers are with you.

You've got it Dana. We are waiting our turn now, just a few more minutes!!! We lost a tree today as we were riding our grandson up the road. We heard a "crack" and it fell right in front of us.
I don't mind losing a tree....but I hope my preps survive!

No one is injured.

All of N. Alabama, no power, TVA has had a main grid line hit.

The whole side and part of roof is gone!

Now just worried how we are going to run the business ....

Got to use my Coleman stove for supper last night. Kids thought it was cool,

Ha, they grabbed their bug out bags as we went to the basement.

Our business is about 40 miles away from home, 8
I sat at home the whole time helpless.

Battery about gone on iPad.

Thanks for the prayers and thought...hope everyone else is OK.

Alabama is bad folks...it's really bad, we probably will not have power for three days or more...glad I am prepared!

Glad to hear you are ok.
I have relatives that live in Georgia and Tennesee right where those super storms went.
we were able to reach them about midnight last night as their cell phones were still working.
my cousin who lives near Chatanooga told us that one of the big tornadoes went thru there and even tho her home was spared just two blocks away everything was leveled including major businesses.
She had to get off the phone as the sirens went off again so this morning we are hoping to hear if everyone is still ok.

ComputerGuy, I'm so sorry for your friend's loss. I can't even imagine. I pray for your friend's family.

DJ, been thinking about you since your post. Praise God your family is okay. I imagine the 'how to conduct business' question will be true for so many in your area. I pray you will find opportunity in the loss, the proverbial 'other door' opening. Most importantly I'm thankful that your family is okay.

God bless everyone in Alabama.

May the Lord watch over all of you, and bring comfort in your time of need.

You are all in our prayers.
