    Longest day-light here in Calgary today as well ... couldn't sleep last night, it was bright all night and the curtains couldn't keep it dark enough for me ..

    Even here in NW Montana we have light until after 11:00 PM and it's getting light again already around 4:00 in the morning! Love it! Sad to see it begin to wane now!

    First light here is about 4:45. Full dark by 9:45

    Tomorrow we loose 11 Seconds of valuable daylight, as we crash toward winter. I am hoping to get the foundation on the new cabin done by July 31'st. Hard manual labor sucks when you are old, but death sucks more.:(

    man I had to work the night shift, lamest shift ever and didn't even get to see the sun "set" or whatever that means in alaska ;)
