So far the Media hosting the debates has succeeded in marginalizing Ron Paul by not allowing him equal time in the debates... so here is an interview from 2000 where he gets to answer questions..

    I like his answers!!

being to long to post follow the road!!..:D

    Hozay,

I normally don't "change horses in mid stream", however I have become less than enamored with Cain and I will admit I do like what I just read of that interview with Ron Paul. I had thought that Dr. Paul was way out there in right field and had some really weird concepts. I don't know where exactly I got that impression, but I will admit that I was wrong about him. I will have to agree with you and put my support behind Ron paul.

I have been getting E-mails from his campaign staff and have been pretty much ignoring them until last night when I actually took the time to read his take on how he would run this Country.

Again after reading that E-mail and the interview you posted, I am as I said switching my vote to Ron paul.

As a side note: I haven't seen any real "dirt" brought up against him and apparently he hasn't changed his positions on less government and less intervention in world affairs in years and that does impress me.

Because that's what the MSM has been telling us for years. They twist his words and then feed it to us as news. When people here the same thing over and over, they eventually accept it as the truth. I've been watching RP since '06. His message never changes. You just need to do your own research to get the facts.

Yep, I agree, the left is really trying to shut him out of the debates and twist his views to what they want us to see and hear.
I was fooled for a while, but thankfully I have had my eyes opened.

Unfortunately, it's the fake right that has done him the most damage. The people in Texas have elected him over and over and over, so he must be worthy enough for that. He's not a war hawk and he's not a big government proponent. So he has a target on his back from the media and power brokers--since he wants to hand the power back to us.

Its not the Democrats marginalizing Paul. Its establishment Republicans doing it. I imagine that the Democrats would like for Paul to win the nomination. They think he would be an easy target for hanging the "weirdo" moniker around his neck. They will like just as much for Paul to run as a third-party candidate - drawing precious votes away from the Republican candidate, splitting the vote, and putting that POS Kenyan back for another four.

The nomination game is rigged. Always has been. Sorta like writing or calling your congressional reps - they never listen if they don't want to and would prefer never having to hear from you. Politics is a casino and both parties run a crooked game.

Romney will be the nominee. Its already decided. Has been for some time. I can't imagine it ending in any other way. I hope I'll have to come back here later and say that I was wrong.

I have to agree that the Media will push Romney hard..but remember they did the same with Bob Dole whom I liked but I knew he wouldn't win the election ...Ditto for John McCain whom I did not like at all,

If folks would remember when Bucannon ( sp) won the New Hampshire primary ( I think it was) the media went bat**** crazy, they dug up a story painting him as having affiliations with David Duke !! after they had ruined his chances it came out that his campaign manager had attended a big gun show in Louisiana and there was a banquet where Duke was a speaker or some such, so they twisted the facts and made it look like bucannon was involved with the Klan... at least that's how I remember it...

They will push the one they think will lose but if he (she?0 don't will be most likely to side with the Liberals cause...

I do wish Paul had a deeper voice !! hahah because he squeaks a bit..but then he's usually in an argument with a liberal...

So... win , lose ,or draw I'm with RP because he's with America! and if he has to run as a Independent then I'll still vote for him.. No more playing the game with the bastards... pick the best of 2 bad choices ???...no mo!

Well said brother, very well said.

You either stand up for what you believe or lay down and accept whatever is poked at you. I have a feeling that there are literally millions of folks in this country that are ready to start doing some "poking" of their own, I know I am.
This is no longer the same America that I took an oath to protect, I still love this Country of ours and would still gladly defend her if needed, but that dosen't mean that I have to like the A$$holes that are running this once great Country into the dirt and getting rich while doing it.

Sorry for the rant, but every once in a while it really, really gets to me all over again and I get Pi$$ed all over again.

I think we would all agree that any of the current Republican candidates would be better than Obama.

I think Romney is nothing but yet another RINO. He's a NE establishment republican. He continues to defend his "Romneycare", which was the template for that Republic-killing underhanded debacle - Obamacare - that we will all fall victim to.

Yet, even Romney is better than what we have. I am already engaged in an internal battle - support and vote for the Republican nominee - Romney - or vote for who I know I agree with if they run as a third-party candidate... even knowing a split vote will likely put Obama back in. I just don't know!:dunno:

If RP runs as an Ind. then yes he splits the vote..BUT.. while the Ind voters don't add up to a lot they still count and a lot of Demo's who can't stand Obama anymore but can't vote for a Repub ..just might vote for the Ind... so evenly split one would only need 35 % to win..if it's evenly split..

I think people like us can help RP a lot by sending our friends this kind of info in E mails..such as RP's answer to the Gun Control question! I've never heard a politician state their beliefs on the subject as clearly as RP did..Also I believe RP would be the one to start undoing all the Presidential directives that have been used to steal freedom from the American people!..I'd love to ask him that question!

I bet its already decided who the next president is gonna be.

    Go Squeaky Go!
In the last election he didnt make the ballot, and the backed the Constitutional Party candidate, and after reading up on their views decided I didnt like them one bit, so I voted with my party (Bob Barr). I think Dr. Paul is the only real hope for the country. I decided long ago that I will vote for the person I want to win, not the lesser of (unfortunately just) two evils.

And this my friends, is how a movement is started and a battle is won; one individual at a time. :2thumb: Don't let the bought and paid for media tell you who the best candidate is. Get all the facts and make your own determination. A revolution begins when the people have been stomped on to the point where they simply won't take it anymore.

I'm with you all and Ron Paul. I have "volunteered" on their website and will donate $ altho not much as I'm pretty well broke...the main thing we CAN DO is SPREAD THE WORD and convince as many as we can.

Wouldn't it be JUSTICE for a sqeaky little guy like RP to be the super-hero that returns America to her roots! Speak softly and Stand strong!

Well said Sage, and yep it would be poetic justice indeed.

:crossfinger: Hopefully we will see RP pick up where RR left off and press forward toward restoring this Republic of ours with all of our RIGHTS intact. :crossfinger:

I've said this before but again won't hurt... RP is the only Politician I've ever donated a dime too... 3 times and only $25.00 per but it was what I could do...

RP has stated he will not run for Congress again... Senate? he never said... but I doubt it...

This might be the last chance to get the right man in the right place...

I do hope we are all spreading the RP word to our friends ad familys and not just telling each other in here...

In fact I'm going to do an informative e mail right now and send it out to all my contacts...

Join me!! make it spread the word day!!

i agree with both of you.
I was watching both Herman Cain and Ron Paul. Then the stuff that got drudged up on Cain was expected..but when he couldn't answer simple questions regarding Libya I got nervous.
Ron Paul has been able to stay above all this type of nonsense all along.
I am definitely voting Ron Paul.
