Both of my parents are on-board with prepping now. My dad had been for a while but my mom decided that we needed things to help survive if SHTF. She came to her senses after reading a book called "the dead and the gone" its part of a series about the moon getting closer to earth and causing tidal waves, earthquakes ect. If you have a friend or family member that you want to get into prepping so A. you don't have to turn them away or B. you dont want them to be a leech. Then get them to read it. This will make things a whole lot easier.

Thank you. And I think that even though the book was fiction it made her realise something could happen.
