My reading list just got a hol lot longer ...

My mom called to tell me she had a few boxes of books for me. (and about 6 more if I want them :eyebulge I told her sure ... I would look at them and then take the rest to the thrift store.

The first book I pull out is: Life After Doomsday ~ Clayton

I grew up goin ta Herter's in Waseca, Mn an the outlet in Iowa Falls. Lord how I miss his stores!

Just finished "free for the eating" ... Bradford Angier, 1966. Once I started it... I could not put it down.

For me it comes back to ... did I learn something new? (and I did and three pages of notes to research.) A great little book. (Thanks mom for knowing my love of books.)
