State conservation police report that a hiker, Mr. Thomas (Action) Jackson discovered the badly mauled and partially decomposed body of Harry Fenstermacher in a secluded section of Bierstadt Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Rangers are quoted as saying that the body bore wounds consistent with a Badger or Wolverine attack, however the extent of the injuries indicated that more than one animal was probably involved.
A prominent labor attorney of Golden, Colorado, Mr. Fenstermacher is well known locally for leading group conservation camping excursions into wilderness areas.
He is also famous for winning concessions from financially strapped local governments for the Service Employees International Union, ( S.E.I.U.).
