Does anyone here use Internet Relay Chat? I am suprised more people don't. If you don't, just get mIRC, select a chat network, enter your nickname, click connect, there are over 50000 chatrooms on multiple networks... I prefer EFNET but it seems horribly botted up (full of idle users)

I used to be a big-time IRC time-waster. I ran a few channels myself. This was back in the early days of IRC - late 80's to early 90's. I cut-back alot of my IRC time in 2001 and just pop in and out of IRC rooms from time-to-time now.

I find forums take up my time now.

It was either '88 or '89 when I used my 300 baud modem to hack into the local University 'net ... there was so much to learn back then ;)
