Oh, I just noticed this was in the for sale section, are they for sale then? What are they made from?
Versions of them are.I forgot to make clear you have to supply your own handle on the axe and make do with my idea of a handle on the knife.its ugly as sin but 100% grip-positive and damned near indestructible.I call it hillbilly micarta.I'm pretty sure its water proof, its been rained on but I've yet to soak it for a week to see just HOW water proof. I use layered boiler plate on my axes and truck spring on my knives. An axe head can be had for 45$ or less, depending how "pretty" you want it. You can probably get out with less than 100$ on a knife, but I DO guarantee it for life barring acts of god and human stupidity[I.E you chop bolts with it I'm charging an arm, leg, and left gonad to re furbish it!]I'm trying to retire but I have some steel left. I do NOT do leather work anymore, get your own sheath. Anybody wants the recipe for hillbilly micarta,P.M me.
