Hi
Im in MA and was introduced to the topic by my Mum last week
As one can guess im a bit overwhelmed by all the info and opinions out there
However my initial plan is simple:
Develop a 3mth supply
Take 1st camping trip and try to learn and use the survival skills needed instead of just buying the book to keep in case......lol
Rework my budget to accommodate a long term prep plan

any advice is welcome
im on a super limited budget and cannot afford costly errors

:welcome: There are many of us here that work with a small budget or have lived frugally all their lives. The only difference between you and us is the fact that we've been doing it so long. Small steps is the only way to go. The fact that you are aware of the possibility that things may not be going so well is a large step and one that the majority of people are not even willing to consider. The next large step you can take that won't break the budget; learn to garden. Seeds are on clearance right now if they haven't sold out in your area. Poke around here for lots of other ideas and don't be afraid to ask a "stupid" question. There aren't any.
