Working on microhydro system idea once spring arrives. Right now just in the planning stage. Trying to figure out if you can make power from static water by use of a submersible pump as a source to move water through the turbine.

Hi, and welcome. I suppose that could work, as long as you're not talking about an electric submersible pump. You'd lose way too much power that way. Are you talking windmill pump? Also, you may want to consider the geometry of the static container such that it maximized the straightaway for the flow through the turbine. Let's see what you come up with!
