    I stumbled across this site while checking out some food sites. After reading a bunch of posts, I knew that this place was worth joining. Look forward to learning a lot and maybe sharing some of my own experiences.

    Thanks for the warm welcome folks! I think that one of the things that is inherent to a preparedness mindset is a sense of swimming against the tide. Many people can't or won't see the potential for situations that require them to be reasonably self sufficient for a period of time. It's important to have a community of like minded folks with ideas and plans, reinforcing the fact that you're not alone. It's always good to have honest feedback without people thinking you've gone off the deep end!

    (BTW, the discontinued the sanctioned barrel rides over the falls...still an option, but you're on your own:eek:)
