Hello from Toronto

    Just a newbie saying hello.

    Ive seen a few fellow Canadians on the board eh, but I was just wondering if there's anyone from the Toronto area.

    T-Dot is the abbreviation for Toronto Ontario. T.O. gets shortened down to T-Dot. Other wise known as Tee Ohh.

    Me thinks that's aboot the part of the world where ice comes from.:D Oh yea and the band Rush and those McKenzie Bro's. ok hozer:ignore:

    I bet 99% of Torontonians (and Southern Ontario'ans) don't say 'aboot'. However... North Western Ontario... anywhere west of ThunderBay... they definitely DO say 'aboot'.

    Discovered this on a roadtrip across Ontario a couple years ago... I was shocked. Of course, this is also a tourist area (hunting/lodges) for Americans... saw a ton of US plates... so now you know where the stereotype comes from.
