Welcome! Once you get started it's amazing how much you can think of to share! Equally amazing is how much we more we discover we can learn! Take a deep breath and jump in!

Thanks.I do have a bit of experience, about a years worth now.
Am gardening,as much as suburbia allows.Learning how to
    preserve,just got a dehydrator.
    Have 2 BOB's,BOV.
Would like to work towards getting off the grid.
Reading everything related I can get my hands on.
    The usual stuff I guess.
Will someone tell me how to post an avatar.
Is it # of posts related? What format needs to be used?

Sounds like you have things on a good path towards being prepared. I would love to see your BOV over in the vehicle section <hint, hint>

As for your question about the avatar, it needs to be a small graphic (.gif works well) and you upload it through the UserCP (User Control Panel).

    BOV='88 Jeep Comanche,4.0,5 spd,8" lift,32X11.50 Goodyear MTR,
10,000 lb winch.Good for the mud,I live at the edge of the
    everglades.
    It's not a large vehicle,but I'm single and live alone,so don't have
    a lot to carry.And I don't plan to bug out at all,unless there's
    no choice.
Started out as a toy(still is),after Pres. Oboingo took control,
thought better of ever getting rid of it.
Will post a pic or 2 as soon as I figure out how.
BTW,NaeKid,was born and raised in Woodstock,Ont.
    Ever heard of it?

Yuppers - went through Woodstock when I drove my 1 year old 2006 LJ from Calgary to PEI and back again. Wildmist (my other half and she is on here) was my navigator for the whole trip. We have 5 Jeeps in our collection right now ... I am still hunting for a Commanche to add to the collection.

Thanks to everyone for the welcome.

Been in Fla since 1968,so I can hardly call myself Canadian anymore.
    Check out ComancheClub.Com.
Cool people over there. They know where all the MJ's are.

    I work in a Chrysler dealership,parts dept,so won't get a lot of
posting time at work, but will try to keep up.
