    Hello everyone,
The past couple of days I have been reading through several of the posts here and have found a lot of good information. Growing up on a small farm here in East Texas, being prepared has always been a part of life to some degree. We harvested the good from the garden and raised our own beef, chicken and pork to last through the winter months and until the next season.

Here I am several years later after walking away form a career, a nice home and social life in the big city, back in the country. I've purchased my land, built a small home and started doing all the things I could hardly wait to get away from as a kid. Funny how life can go full circle like that isn't it?

I'm looking forward to learning a lot more from the posts on here and maybe along the way I can help someone else.
    ~GreyWolf~
