    Hi All,

Currently in the Bay Area of CA, originally from NYC.

Been into preparedness and survival since I can remember (a long time). I've only recently been checking out the different survival forums but now is as good a time as any.

Former EMT in the FDNY and currently do business continuity consulting.

First Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

As for my earthquake plan...The Short answer is to get out of CA before the big one hits.

    The long answer is:

We are well stocked with food and water and ready to shelter in place.
Water: 25 gallons stored plus a 30 gallon water heater as backup.
Food: various foodstuff - I have about 6 bags of dehydrated meals. Canned meats, which I rotate by cooking the older ones up for an occasional breakfast.
extra clothing outside and extra items outside should the house come down.
I have two go bags one for me and one for my wife in case we have to leave.
I have two sets of cobra 25 mile radios.

I still want to get a couple of quick set up tents, generators and Sat phone.

My set up right now is pretty basic but we have all the important stuff covered. I am ready to cook outside and have plenty of battery powered lanterns along with dynamo (hand crank lights and radios)
