Hi i just though i would re-introduce myself to everyone.....I have been away for a while with an ankle transplant surgery and am recovering well enough to finally get back to normal. I am in southern cal....close to bunkerbob who introduced me to this site.

Wow, like aj said, I've never heard of an ankle transplant either! Interesting! Glad you're getting back to normal!

Thank you all for the best wishes! Yeah its basically a new procedure ....in a nutshell they cut the bottom portion of the fib. out and replace it with a new one....(new to me) replace all the cartilage and throw two plates and attach the new fib. W/ talus to my original fib and screw everything together and......viola....hopefully good as new in 2 months........but boy was it painful.
