    Found this link through another website. I am sure most of you have already seen the US Debt clock, but here is the same kind of overview globally. It is made by the economist, definitely not a tabloid newspaper. So hold on to your pants, here is the Global Debt Clock.

    (Btw, if you think the US is in deep doo-doo, have a look at Belgium. +1 to the first one that can find another country with a higher debt per person.)

    Depressing I know.

    What a mess , we need to got back to a straight barter system , no currency and there fore the parisite class Bankers, the stock market, would starve

    I'm all for a little change from how things are done now, but that is just silly. You cannot have a world economy like today solely based on the straight barter system. The last time people used barter exclusively must be more than 5000 years ago. In any case, currency is not the issue.

    fiat currency most definitely IS, especially when it relies on the sheeple not calling BS on fractional reserve lending
