I've always been a subscriber to the Boy Scout Motto "Be Prepared" and know the importance of self-reliance an due diligence and in these times it's more important than ever.

Hello & Welcome.

We make the trip to Amish country once a year for the draft horse sale at either Dover or Mt. Hope. This year we are planning a spring trip, not sure which sale but one of them. :D

 Lancaster or Perry Co?
I'm in the rural farm area in Berks County. It's not as heavily populated with Amish like Lancaster and are more Mennonite(very close). I see a few carriages around town and it has that simpler life feel to it.

Nice area to live, but I miss the mountains of Oregon where I moved from last year.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone!
