Freeze Dried Candy: Love it or Leave it?

Hey everyone! I recently tried freeze dried candy for the first time, and I must say, I was quite disappointed. The texture was strange, and it lacked the chewiness and satisfying crunch that I look for in candies. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
