I am just wondering - do you visit each piece of the forum one at a time, read through, comment and then move onto the next section - or - do you click on the "Quick Links" at the top and hit Today's Posts for the messages of the last 24hrs - or - do you just smack the "NewPosts" button to see only the newest postings?

Nope... open up each category based on whether or not it's 'highlighted' due to it's new content.

Never knew what they were and never investigated. I use the highlights on the left as well.

I just look at the days topics and respond to what interests me. I also read old topics and glean them for information. I may reserect them by responding to them.

I almost exclusively use the "new posts" button, occassionally I will browse through the forum, but generally don't have the time.

in fact, I don't use any forums that don't have a "new posts" or equivalent function... it might not seem like it, but I do have a life ;)

I use the quick links. The subscription feature in this forum is a bit different than in some of the other forums. In the other forums I can click on the subscription link and I get a list of all the threads to which I've posted without me having to do an active subscribe.

But, you do have something the other forums don't have, and that's a "tag" on the icons on the left-hand side of the board (little envelopes). There's an arrow if I have a post in that section. I like that.

Since I'm older than 20... well, being a heck of a lot older than 20, it's nice to know where my posts are without much digging.

On a completely different topic - I really like the emoticon selection you have on this board!

In the upper right hand corner where it says Welcome Country Living You'll see three link mechanisms below your name.
    My Profile
My Topics This will take you to all of the threads you have started
My Replies This shows you all the threads you have posted in.

Hope this makes it easier for you to find what you're looking for. :)
