Sunday morning, 8:00 AM, Heading out to 'Pray' at the church of exterior ballistics.
(The gun range to you hillbillys! :congrat: )

It's GOOD to be religious about some things!
Target practice is one of those things...

    Let us all pray,
Sight Picture, three breaths, last one half way out, squeeze trigger...

Repeat until your soul is cleansed! :D

it seems very prudent and pratical to be dogmatic about demonstratably useful things :)

I guess that makes me a "Rocky American", since we live in the Rocky Mountains? Or maybe a "Glacial American" since we live near Glacier Park? Nah, that's cold! lol

First off, it's 'Hillbilly' or 'Puddle Jumper' around here.
Hillbillies are the guys from the hills, which I'm a proud owner of part of the highest hill in my county,
And if you live by the river, you are a 'Puddle Jumper'.

Since I don't live in the APPALACHIAN Mountains, I'm not an APPALACHIAN AMERICAN.

I'm simply a 'Hillbilly' from Indiana!

    -----------------------------

Secondly, it's NEVER a bad thing to get out and 'Warship' in nature!
I never liked churches anyway, the muzzle blast really echoes around in those places! :)

    -----------------------------

10:00 AM on Saturday, headed to the gun range...
Don't want to leave the Jewish Sabbath out!

    -----------------------------

Going to break in and sight in two new AR-15 uppers and get my new optics on my .308 squared away.
I hate the cleaning of a new barrel, but you MUST do it if you want it to live a long, ACCURATE life,
And since these are 'Tack Drivers' by most people's standards.

I have a LOT more fun (and less cleaning, brass pickup, ect.) with rim fires, but sometimes you just have to break the center fires out to keep in practice!

    ---------------------------------------

I'm only going to shoot East during Ramadan :D

Are the 4 Pillars of Islam good places to hang targets?

I am starting to feel more like a northern Mexican. Good thing I like spicy food.

Target practice sounds like a good idea today...

Well, being the 'Over Achiever' I usually am,
I'm still unpacking camping gear from the truck left over from MAY so I can get my full gun range set up back in there!

Remember, never do today what you can put off for 4 months! :D

I was born in Tennessee... that makes me a Hillbilly.

Politically correctness is for the Flatlanders.

A good day's vittles is some pan fried catfish, fried okra, hushpuppies, cornbread and honeybutter, a tall glass of Sweet Tea, and a big bowl of 'nana puddin' for desert.

Maybe for a snack later on, an RC Cola and a Moon Pie. :D:D:D

My sister lives in Texas (Austin area) and she says Texas is what was left after Mexico took a Sh!t.

Kills me every time she says that since there is a Texan Transplant down the road that brags about EVERYTHING from Texas!
