I'm beginning to suspect that some of these retailers and mail order companies really don't mean it when they wish me and mine "Happy Holidays" and that they just contact me because they want me to buy stuff from them-but that's just me, and I'm a tad cynical. Sorry. Couldn't resist that. I just wanted to put things into perspective. The retailers are just tapping into something weird about consumers. Watch the public, they're savages. Listening to stories about what the customers are already like at some businesses, and enjoying the fact I don't need to rush out and get anything makes me very happy! I'm hoping that no one gets trampled to death tomorrow. That was horrible, the savages simply rushed in, didn't care about the poor guy who opened the door and it was so important to spend money they didn't have, to get things they didn't need that a man died. Imagine what it's like when hungry people find out there's food somewhere. Autopsy confirms Wal-Mart worker was 'trampled to death,' says Nassau's top cop I wonder whether this is a matter of the location or whether this could happen anywhere. Also, thefts will be going on like mad. Watch your wallets, purses, and purchased items. If you're making a lot of purchases, if you can, put them in the trunk and out of sight.
