    Is there any nutritional value to bird seed?

    I do not think that eating bird seed is worth your time.

    Some of it can be quite tastey, the little round brown things and the sunflower seeds are definately good to eat...

    Bird seed nutrition

    Generally, bird seed is millet and rape seed. Both can be sprouted and have great nutritional value.

    Sprouting is easy to do, requires minimal equipment and the return on labor invested is very high.

    DEFINITELY:cool: worth the time and effort.

    Bird seed is extremely easy to grow, and it grows really fast if you toss some on the ground and it stays fairly wet. I didn't know you can eat the plants from it...
