      Hi, kejmak ...

I'm feeling really bad. I was just relaxing here Christmas afternoon and thought I'd look thru some of my posts here on the site. When I posted my "introduction, it never occurred to me to look back at the folks who responded. Anyway, I read the one you sent and it had somethig to do with us needing to get together sometime since we live so close.

Anyway, my apologies for not responding earlier but if the invitation is still open, I'd enjoy getting together for a cup of coffee or something.

      Thanks for the reply.

I'm going to be in Galveston & Freeport the last weekend of the month. Hubby is going scubadiving in the Gulf & my 16yo & I are going to spend the weekend in Galveston. I'll wave at you when we get to town!

Just wondering. My girls said they'd met a formerly Amish girl at Teenpact, so I wondered if that could possibly have been one of yours.

I'm in Hartford Ct. There's not much chance of trying to hole up in this city. These people will canibalize themselves from what i know of this place. lol
I intend on traveling lite to better places. this is waypoint to somewhere else for me. I was a union Iron worker here, but no ones building things anymore. I started a home remodeling biz and construction has kinda my line of work most of my life. I just love to build stuff. When the decline begins I will be ready. Sounds like you are too. Keep in touch.

I am a single mom to three (divorced many years ago). My oldest son is leaving for his second tour in Iraq on June1. He goes to the U of KY between tours. My next son is in college and the TX Guard. He's an EMT. My youngest is a daughter, 17 yrs. She has special needs. We all moved here 2 yrs ago. My farm in VA is still for sale, but I was able to get a small place here. We LOVE Texas! I moved here on purpose to improve our prepping. I'll probably be picking your brain a lot. I have to get to bed. I worked last night and I have to go in early tonight. Have a great day.

Glad the link helped. It is definately my favorite by far. I've printed a lot of it & organized it in a 3 ring binder. Do yall have kids? We have 2 teen daughters, 16 & 18yo.

I just sent you a friends request. There's a lot of info here Home Vegetable Gardening | Aggie Horticulture about gardening in Texas. I live close to Tyler, TX. Glad to have you on the site & I'll wave next time we are in your area!

Where are you located? I move to TX from VA. Are you prepping on your place or do you plan to bug out if things get bad?

I hope things don't turn out as we have been discussing. But if they do.. you and gypsy are alright by me. My name is Neil. I traveled alot throughout early 2000 all over the country and I have to say the people here on the east coast have nothing on you guys. The west is the best. I mean that sincerely. Everything is west of me. :) everyone here is out for themselves. The word I'd choose is disassociated.
I made alot of great friends on the road and I'd like to think we can get to know each other better. It sounds good what you have in mind I'm interested in hearing more of your plan. Maybe I can help. Lets keep in touch if you don't mind.
