Hozay thanks for your input on the rifles. Looks like you hunt alot. My cousin and I are looking for a hunt for 2012 and we are leaning towards deer hunting on kodiak island. Lots of Kodiak bears, densely populated. but the deer are even more densely populated.

Have friends with the tarus and maybe bretta 22 autos. I agree the 22 is a good round and will do about anything I need, but not an auto fan. I have the ruger 380 as you have, but never shot it and the keltec 9mm, and never shot it. I wanted those two calibers just in cause i ever got in a bind and had that ammo available. call me scared, but prepared. I like having various calibers available. just my thoughts

Thanks so much for B-D wishes.. I have been achery hunting all weekend, got some nice bucks and hogs on the camera. I shot a nice boar hog but lost him after trailing for about a 1/4 mile through some thick bottoms where you had to crawl through. I came home and was sore a heck. Did find my arrow but I'm upset over losing the hog. We looked Saturday evening and went back early Sunday morning and went back to trailing him till the blood trail just stopped. I hate it. Hope you have a great hunting season,,

Hi Hozay, we just wondered if the gal in Texas got the Hickory Hollow book? It's been about a week since we mailed it!

Mosquitomountainman and I have both finished reading your book, "The world ends in Hickory Hollow". It was good, and the kind of thing I could image really would happen.

Do you want us to mail it back to you, or send it on to the next person?

      Hey HozayBuck,
I got to read your book! I loved it, is there a book two on here? After reading OSA I needed something with hope so we watched my favorite cowboy movie The Undefeated. And then I started your book. What I saw in it, was the America I always want to remember. It was light hearted, which is my favorite kind of book. It can have bad stuff happening but I always want good to win in the end.
My Dad was, as I called him, with love of course, a bleeding heart liberal. I, of course a conservative republican when I was born, as my Father accused me of at 12 years old. I was born very patriotic. I am not a republican anymore or any label.
Maybe I am naive and America was never good but I can't believe that. I love this country and morn for her greatness that once was.
Anyway I am sorry for rambling on . keep writing ,
Thanks and let me know if there is a continuation of the story. Faith Marie
