We had a surprise party here yesterday. Most of her friends from work have retired also and moved very close to here. We invited a few over for dinner but didn't tell them the others were coming. We had a great time.

The wife made a big batch of chili. It didn't look like much beans and corn but it was enough. I've been trying to get my blood sugar back down today. I slept 10 hours last night and felt like I slept 4. It was not a good day today.

Yall are skeering me , about eating any carbs,
Grimm gets bloated, and BM problems, Caribou has bad day, CBL goes into body crashes,

Tomorrow is 3 weeks in for me, and I still avoid Carbs and sugar like its the plague..

I wonder if I would turn into a werewolf or vampire if I had a cookie.

I'm still doing good, weight seems to level off for a few days , then drop a few lbs,

I just want to go, go, go, work, work ...all the time, but my knees and back says no,no no,

Jim
btw , still have that taste in my mouth.

I tend to feel super crappy and achy after eating sugar when I haven't had it for months. I get gas and bloating after eating gluten, pizza, bread, etc. I get cramps and loose stools if I have wheat like triscuits or life cereals. Corn and oats aren't so bad but I have an inflammation issue with too many grains and hold a lot of fluids. Carbs make me drowsy too.
Low carb high fat isn't always easy but I feel best.

Am I overdoing the NO carbs thing?

I have this very tired, lite headed, weak feeling, today,
All day.

Just don't feel right.

Like when I use to get a low sugar drop thing.

Should I do a little carb intake?

Jim

Nope. Get some electrolytes. Powerade zero is good. I take electrolyte tabs when I'm not getting enough potassium/magnesium in my foods.

I make sure to eat ALL of my 25-35 carbs each and every day. And I would estimate 20-30 of them come from raw or cooked nutrient dense vegetables. I think that humans should eat Keto, but I also believe we need those vegetables (and some low sugar fruits) to provide the nutrition we need as well as other secondary benefits. A little brain glucose being one of them. Supplements help but I do not believe they provide more than a fraction of the nutrition you get from whole foods. Cauliflower for example has Omega-3 fats without eating yucky fish. It also is a natural anti-inflammatory and has loads of Vitamin K.

Sentry, phideaux, let's go to dinner. Sentry I'll eat your fish and phideaux I'll eat you cauliflower. You don't mind if I take a nap after we eat, right?

So, are you gonna contribute anything of good keto value to this dinner?

Or...is there nothing that you won't eat...
How about Possum ears and grits?

Jim
